CHRIS – FROM LAID OFF TO A NEW CAREER WITH GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

Chris decided he needed a career change after getting laid off from his bank job of six years. LifeWorks increased his confidence and equipped him to stand out in interviews. Dressed for success, he walked into Frank Gay Services and asked to speak to a manager. He walked out with a job. He says, “I didn’t have this kind of career track or anticipation in my old job.” Chris currently is training as an HVAC technician.

JENNEL – FROM UNEMPLOYED TO A NEW CAREER IN HEALTHCARE

Facing unemployment and childcare challenges, Jennel wondered where God was in her situation. She says the biblical principles of LifeWorks helped her to trust Him. “Every time I’m struggling, I know God is going to provide.” After graduating from LifeWorks, she found a full-time job at a childcare center where she also could enroll her daughter. Jennel recently completed a certified behavior technician course through Central Florida Urban League and plans to move into healthcare.
